Shirley Lamont is an Industrial Technology and Training associate for Design within the InnoTech Centre.
Shirley graduated from University of Ulster in 2008 with BSc Hons Interactive Multimedia Design and Diploma in Industrial Studies. Previous to this Shirley completed AVCE’s in Double Award Business Studies and ICT.
Throughout her education she has gained skills in applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Director MX, 3D Max and is familiar with HTML, XML, CSS and SQL
Shirley was formerly employed as a Marketing executive where she was responsible for all company marketing, her role involved design and development of adverts, management of e-newsletters and publications, maintenance of customer database, producing copy, organisation of events and exhibitions, organisation of royal mail door drops and budget management.
Since joining InnoTech Shirley has completed a MSc Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Transformation Programme in Babson College in conjunction with the University of Ulster. Shirley also delivers a business Clinic on E-Marketing for the Go for it programme and is fully trained in SEO.
Shirley works with a team of colleagues to develop and deliver STEM workshops to Schools throughout Northern Ireland and is employed as a part time lecturer for Btec Computer Gamming for the South West College.
